The Metaphor of the SolCatcher
SolCatchers:
Glass is a metaphor for the human soul.
People believe that glass is very fragile and it can be, but it is also frequently much stronger than we give it credit for. When hit just right, glass will shatter. However, more often rather than shattering, the glass will chip and fissure, crack and fracture. Rather than seeing those fractures as imperfections, it is important to realize that each chip, each fracture, enables the glass to reflect light and beauty in wondrous and unique ways.
So it is with people too. We go through life and we get our bumps and bruises - our cracks and fissures - but we don't actually shatter. But again, it's these cracks and fissures - these "imperfections" - that lets our unique individuality shine through.
Let your unique and beautiful soul refract the light of your individuality in wondrous ways.
Peace,
Leslie
